We accept Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare. All Urology San Antonio providers are in-network with most major commercial insurances including: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna Texas, Humana, United and many other carriers. If your insurance isn’t listed or you have questions, contact us.
With HMO insurance policies (check your insurance card for the words HMO or call your carrier’s 800 number to inquire), you will need authorization from your primary care provider before seeing a urologist. Ask your primary care provider to fax your referral authorization to (210) 679-3725. Your referral authorization must be received prior to your appointment to be seen by the physician.
Private/Cash Pay Patients
Private or cash paying patients without health insurance should be prepared to pay $350 at their first appointment. If additional costs are incurred for more extensive testing or treatment, we will invoice you.
We understand that paying for medical care can be challenging. This reference guide lists programs and organizations that might be able to help.
Co-payments, deductibles and private payments are due at the time of your visit. We accept cash, checks and major credit cards. If you have insurance, we will submit your insurance claim and invoice you for any remaining balance.
If you cannot pay your balance in full, contact us to arrange a payment plan. We do not offer payment plans in advance for non-urgent or elective medical issues; you will need to pay the $350 appointment fee before being seen.
