About Dr. Daniel Zainfeld
A Texas native, Dr. Daniel Zainfeld is a fellowship trained Urologic Oncologist with Urology San Antonio. Following medical school, he completed his residency training in Urologic Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Subsequently, he completed a two year Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) approved fellowship at the USC Keck/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles, CA at which time he also received a Master of Science in Clinical, Translational, and Biomedical studies.
His interests include the clinical and surgical management of urologic malignancies such as bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, and prostate cancer as well as complex reconstructive urologic surgeries. He performs open, robotic, and laparoscopic procedures. In addition, he is actively involved in clinical trials for urologic cancers.
