Your Healthcare is Important to Us
During the COVID-19 Crisis, Urology San Antonio, P.A. remains committed to providing high quality care delivered conveniently and safely. Keeping our patients out of the emergency room and hospital is a critical part of ensuring your safety.
Everyone entering Urology San Antonio must wear a face mask / cloth face covering.
We are following the “Stay Home, Work Safe” directives of the City of San Antonio and Governor Abbott’s Executive Orders. With the Governor’s update effective May 1, 2020, many surgeries that had been delayed may now be performed. Our Surgery Scheduling Department is working diligently to get surgical patients on the schedule at the surgery center or hospital.
We now offer telehealth appointments with your physician / nurse practitioner. Eligibility is based on your health condition and your insurance coverage of telehealth. After a video appointment, if we determine it is still important for you to be seen in the clinic, we will schedule an office visit. You only will be charged for one visit in those circumstances.
If you are being treated in-person in our clinic, we ask that you:
- Make sure you do not have a fever, cough, or respiratory problem. We are screening patients and visitors upon arrival.
- If you must bring someone with you, we ask that you limit it to one additional person only unless your physical condition requires more assistance. All visitors are screened for fever, cough, respiratory issues, etc.
Please be assured that our normal cleaning measures have been supplemented by additional wipe-downs of exam tables, countertops, etc. between patients.
Urology San Antonio closely monitors and adjusts processes in accordance with the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, local hospitals, the state government’s directions, and the Centers for Disease Control guidelines. If you have specific questions, please let us know.
Your healthcare is important to us. So are you.
