All Urology San Antonio doctors welcome Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare beneficiaries. We are in-network providers for most major commercial insurances including: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna Texas, Humana, Secure Horizons and United. We also accept many other insurances. We do not accept workers compensation insurance. If you would like to verify whether we take your specific insurance, call our insurance and billing department at (210) 731-2050.
Remember to bring your current insurance card to each office visit, and we will file your insurance claim.
HMO insurance policies require that your primary care physician authorize a referral to medical specialists such as a urologist. (Look at your insurance care to determine if you have a HMO policy or call the 800 number on the card to inquire.) If you have an HMO policy, contact your primary care doctor to obtain the written referral in advance of your urology appointment. Failing to do so violates the terms of your insurance policy and the carrier will not pay for your visit.
Co-payments and deductibles are due at the time of your visit. If additional fees are required, please pay them within 30 days of receiving an invoice. This policy reduces the costs associated with mailing repeat statements and allows us continue providing affordable care. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, money orders and major credit cards.
Read our complete financial policy / pรณliza financera.
Private or cash paying patients without health insurance should be prepared to pay $300 when they arrive for their first appointment. If additional costs are incurred (for special testing or more extensive evaluations or treatment), we will invoice you and/or you can make arrangements to pay the remaining balance before you leave the clinic. Please feel free to call our Billing and Insurance representatives at (210) 731-2050 if you have additional questions or need more specific information.
