Founded in 1996 as a single-specialty research site, Urology San Antonio Research has seen remarkable growth over the past decade. Today, the center is a full service, multi-specialty research site dedicated to helping pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations accelerate the treatment development process through quality care and accurate data.

Urology San Antonio Research excels in studies related to prostate cancer, bladder cancer, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia and urinary tract infections. Our team is experienced in conducting all phases of clinical research and has a wealth of experience with both drug and device studies. We consistently exceed enrollment quotas while providing the highest quality patient care.

 Patient Demographics

Each year Urology San Antonio physicians see approximately 120,000 patients. Sixty-six percent of these patients are men, and 34 percent are women. Approximately 85 percent are over the age of 40. Urology San Antonio does not see pediatric patients.

Under the leadership of director Daniel R. Saltzstein, M.D. and Associate Directors LeRoy A. Jones, M.D. and Naveen Kella, M.D., our team of highly-trained professionals strives to provide exceptional patient care and precise clinical data. Our staff includes:
